EAFFL Player Conduct Policy
EAFFL is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all participants. All players, captains, and team personnel are expected to uphold strong standards of sportsmanship.
Discipline in EAFFL is progressive and may include fines, suspension, forfeiture of performance bond, or removal from the league.
Participation in EAFFL constitutes agreement to this policy.
Performance Bond
EAFFL collects a $200 Performance Bond from each team, which is included in league registration fees.
This bond is:
- Held by the league for the duration of the season
- Refundable at season’s end if no fines are issued
- Subject to deduction if disciplinary fines are imposed
If a player forfeits their team's full $200 Performance Bond due to misconduct, they will receive an automatic one (1) year suspension from EAFFL from the date of the disciplinary decision.
Progressive Fines & Penalties
EAFFL uses a progressive discipline model. Repeated or severe violations will result in escalating penalties.

Suspensions remain in effect until all fines are paid in full.
EAFFL reserves the right to increase penalties based on severity, prior history, or circumstances of the incident.
Punitive Measures May Include
- Written Warning
- Monetary Fine ($50–$200)
- Game Suspension
- Multiple-Game Suspension
- Full Forfeiture of $200 Performance Bond
- One-Year Suspension
- Removal from League
Severe conduct (physical altercation, threats, harassment, or behavior that endangers participants or officials) may result in immediate suspension pending review.
Captain & Team Responsibility
Captains are responsible for managing team conduct and sideline behavior.
Failure to control teammates may result in:
- Additional fines
- Suspension of the captain
- Team-level discipline
- Loss of playoff eligibility
Teams may be held collectively responsible for unpaid fines.
EAFFL Player Conduct Agreement
By registering and participating in EAFFL, I acknowledge and agree that:
- I will treat officials, opponents, teammates, and league staff with respect.
- I understand that unsportsmanlike conduct may result in fines, suspension, or removal from the league.
- I understand that disciplinary fines range from $50 to $200.
- I understand that the $200 Performance Bond included in my registration fee is refundable at season’s end if no fines are issued.
- I understand that forfeiture of the full $200 Performance Bond results in a mandatory one-year suspension.
- I understand that suspensions remain in effect until fines are paid
Participation in EAFFL constitutes acceptance of these terms.
