Rules & Policies

EAFFL operates with clear standards to protect competitive integrity and player safety.

Player Eligibility

• 18+ and fully registered (can be turning 18 this year)
• Players may only play on one team
  (Exception: Players may also participate in Co-ed)
• Unregistered players result in forfeits
  
  

Uniform Standards

• One light and one dark jersey/shirt required (hometeam wears dark, away team wears light)
• Visible numbers
• No duplicate numbers on the same team
  
  

Equipment

• League-provided flag belts (must remain visible and unobstructed)
• Regulation footballs provided
• No metal cleats
• No exposed jewellery
• Watches removed or covered
• Mouthguards optional
  
  

Conduct

• Zero tolerance for abuse toward officials
• Respect for opponents, rules, and facilities is mandatory
• Ejections result in escalating suspensions and fines
• Teams falling below the Game Day Standards Scale may lose playoff eligibility

Attendance & Accountability

• 7-day notice required for rescheduling, less than 7 days notice result in forfeit and $50 fine
• No-shows result in loss of performance bond
• Two team no-shows = removal from league
